The
analysis made at the coffee plantation called Doka Estate located at
Sabanilla of Alajuela, Costa Rica, shows a high historical and
cultural value within the Costa Rican coffee production in the first
half of the twentieth century, being built in the 1920’s.
The
Estate acquired an important place as an exporter of coffee to
international markets, consolidating for over fifty years as one of
the largest producers in the Costa Rican country.
Innovation,
as business strategy, to supplement the production of coffee of the
highest international quality, with a very successful scheme for
tourism development, has gained great cultural value in portraying
Costa Rican history, customs and its better traditions.

Doka
Estate Farm's earnings represent the growing economy and the coffee
agricultural business development in the province of Alajuela,
becoming as a landmark space, and redefining permanently the
geographical and cultural landscape of the region.
Doka
Estate Farm's earnings are an example of living history, maintaining
the existence of the industrial methods of collecting and processing
